BTS, The Most Popular K-Pop Boy Band is completing their 10th Anniversary this year. However like every year, lots of events are planned to celebrate the beautiful journey of BTS.
“Take Two” is a new digital single composed by BTS as a gift to ARMY for their 10th Anniversary celebration. Take Two was released on 9 June at 1PM(KST) which is a sign to BTS’ “second chapter” and an “ode to their fans,” affectionately called ARMY, according to a statement from HYBE.
SUGA and EL CAPITXN have worked in the overall production of this song, while RM and j-hope have participated in penning down the lyrics.”Take Two” harmonizes a tranquillizing melody and rap with a soothing acoustic sound. The track portrays the gratitude of the BTS members towards ARMY, while also promising further great days to come.
All the members have actively participated in the song. Take Two is also BTS’ second song as a group of 2023, following “The Planet” which was released on May for the animated series, “Bastions”. Before the song was even released, “Take Two” topped the Billboard charts for Hot Trending Songs, dominating the June 10-dated list.
Meanwhile, ‘2023 BTS FESTA’ continues all over the first half of June, concluding with the massive ‘BTS 10th Anniversary FESTA @ Yeouido’ scheduled on June 17. While the festival itself is an immense thing for the ARMY, there are two more surprises arranged for them this year. Along with the release of Take Two, two BTS solo documentaries will hit the theatres globally this June. J-hope: IN THE BOX and SUGA: Road to D-DAY will be available in cinemas worldwide from 17 June for a specific period of time.
