Magnitude 5.4 earthquake tremors felt in Delhi and parts of North India

Quake quakes felt in Delhi and portions of north India on June 13 evening, ANI detailed. A quake of extent 5.7 on the Richter scale happened 30km southeast of Kishtwar in Jammu and Kashmir, the Public Community for Seismology (NCS) said.

“Tremor of Magnitude:5.4, Happened on 13-06-2023, 13:33:42 IST, Lat: 33.15 and Long: 75.82, Profundity: 6 Km ,Area: Doda, Jammu and Kashmir, India,” tweeted NCS.

The shake was at a profundity of 60 km and the focal point of the shudder was a good ways off of 99 km north of Pathankot in northern India, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC) said.

“The tremor frightened younger students. Individuals in shops surged out. It was frightening. This was more extraordinary than the quakes last week,” A nearby from Srinagar told ANI.

On June 9, the Association Region of Ladakh encountered a 3.9 size tremor, as revealed by the NCS. The seismic occasion occurred at 10:23:57 IST, with the focal point situated at Lat: 35.64 and Long: 76.62. The tremor happened at a profundity of 10 kilometers in the locale of Laddakh, India.

Essentially, around the same time, one more quake with an extent of 3.7 struck Tezpur in Assam. The NCS gave subtleties that the focal point was arranged 39 kilometers west of Tezpur, with a profundity of 10 kilometers. The quake happened at 10:05 am neighborhood time.
