The franchise league’s 16th season will be the Indian Premier League in 2023. The event will be played in a home-and-away format following a three-year break due to COVID. The 2023 season will include 74 matches between the 10 participating clubs, who have been split into two groups. The Gujarat Titans, who are led by Hardik Pandya, are the league’s reigning winners, while the Rajasthan Royals finished second the previous year. Two points are awarded to the winning team, but one point is awarded to each team if the game is abandoned. The top four teams will advance to the playoffs following the conclusion of the league stage.

This season started of with lot of surprises. There are new captains and playing on home grounds bringing back the old glory. As there are 10 teams divided into two groups.
Group A – Mumbai Indians, Kolkata Knight Riders, Rajasthan Royals, Delhi Capitals and Lucknow Super Giants.
Group B – Chennai Super Kings, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Punjab Kings and Gujarat Titans.
Each team will play 14 matches. Against the other groups 5 teams twice and 4 teams from their group once. The current standings are interesting.
These are the four teams we believe will make the IPL 2023 playoffs. However, reaching the playoff stage is only the first step towards winning the IPL 2023 trophy.
