The 16th edition of the Asia Cup will begin on August 30 and finish with the final game on September 17. The 2023 Asia Cup will be hosted under a hybrid format for the first time by two independent nations, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.

India, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Nepal (for the first time) will compete in the Asia Cup in 2023. This year’s event will be divided into two groups of three teams each, group A and group B. The top two teams in both group stage will be feature in the quarterfinals. Following that, the final will take place on September 17th.

The competition will be played in 50-over ODI format, allowing nations to prepare for the next One-Day International World Cup, which will be held in October-November. This time, the Asian Cricket Council has revealed the Asia Cup dates and location. There will be a total of 13 games throughout the tournament, with the first four being played in Pakistan and the latter nine being played in Sri Lanka, the defending Asian champions in 2022.
