Jeon Jungkook, the youngest member of the global sensation BTS is finally making his official solo debut. With his highly anticipated solo release, “SEVEN”, Jungkook takes us on an introspective and captivating musical journey. Jungkook is all set to release his brand new solo single, SEVEN this July. The digital single will have its grand release on July 14 at 1PM(KST) .
The announcement was made by BTS’ agency, BigHit Entertainment on 30 June midnight KST. A teaser poster of the single, titled SEVEN was also shared by BigHit Music.
Based on the announcement notice released on Weverse, BigHit stated that the digital single is an “invigorating ‘summer song’.
The statement of BigHit is as follow:

We are pleased to inform you about the release of “Seven,” the solo digital single by BTS member Jungkook.
“Seven” is an invigorating “summer song” that is sure to have you experience the full breadth of Jungkook’s charm. We hope that “Seven” will bring your summer fun to the next level.
As Jungkook kicks off his official solo activities, we ask you to extend your utmost anticipation and support for his digital single and many other activities to come.
Release Date: 1 PM, Friday, July 14, 2023 (KST) [9:30 AM IST]”.
The release of BTS’s Jungkook’s SEVEN, is scheduled after the release of their book “BTS: Beyond the Story”. “BTS: Beyond the Story” is set to release on July 9 (ARMY Day). It will probably be another tribute to the Bangtan and ARMYs. There will be two versions of SEVEN: Clean and Explicit.
Jungkook also went live on Weverse where he spoke about various topics. He also assured fans not to be sad over the fact that he is releasing a single and revealed about his upcoming album which he is working on currently.
Soon after the notice was released #JUNGKOOK and #JJK1 IS COMING took over Top 1 and 2 respectively in the Worldwide Twitter trends.
Pre-order for the CD of the single Seven is marked sold out on the website, proving again the title “Sold out King” given to him by fans.
Recently, Jungkook embarked on an overseas schedule, sparked rumours on collaborations with various pop stars. While rumours of a possible collaboration with Justin Bieber have been going around, official confirmation hasn’t been made.
There is also a speculation of a collaboration of Jungkook with luxury brand Bvlgari following his interactions on social media with its CEO. The CEO provoked the rumours by featuring a song by Jungkook on his Instagram story, also his arrival in Seoul, South Korea, for an important event. Additionally, he began following fan pages of Jungkook on Instagram.
