BTS’ V aka Kim Taehyung is the new brand ambassador of Cartier – The French Luxury Jewellery and Watch making Brand. V has joined other Asian stars including Jisoo of Blackpink, Chinese actress Gong Li, Jackson Wang of Got7 and Indian actress Deepika Padukone in the Cartier family.

The decision to make BTS’ V as the face of the ‘Panthère de Cartier’ campaign was swayed by his dazzling similarities to the panther, an animal renowned for its intelligence and versatility. Cartier highlighted that V shares the same creative spirit and magnetic gaze as the panther. In the campaign visuals, V showcases the magnificient pieces from the Panthère jewelry collection, including a sculptural diamond ring, a tête-à-tête panther bracelet, and the Révélation d’une Panthère watch. He radiates confidence, perfectly matching with the bold essence of the collection.

D’Arnaud Carrez, senior vice president and chief marketing officer of Cartier, said, “When it came to embodying the magnetism and aura of the panther, our choice naturally fell on V.
